Morgan Bolding
Olympic Champion…
The Hard Way
Morgan grew up in care. His mother suffered from schizophrenia, and his father, a refugee from the Bosnian war, was absent and living in Canada.
Lacking any apparent sporting talent, Morgan’s dream of competing at the Olympics seemed impossibly distant. However, at age 11, he discovered rowing; a demanding sport and the perfect outlet to channel the resilience he'd forged through his turbulent childhood.
This resilience proved instrumental in overcoming the relentless failures and hardships of elite sport. It took 18 years of resilience for Morgan to finally achieve his dream of competing at the Olympic Games in which he won Gold.
From the purpose he learned through childhood neglect to the perspective, he gained from stories of his father at war. Morgan teaches an unbreakable mindset through the stories which forged it in him.
